       Research: Functional, Stereotactic and Epilepsy Laboratory
Behavioral Laboratory I

Director: Dr. Leonard Howell, Yerkes Regional Primate Research Center

Dr. Leonard Howell's research laboratories are located in the Yerkes Research Center. The laboratories are equipped with computers and state-of-the-art electronic equipment for the on-line control of physiological and behavioral experiments and the analysis of data. Equipment includes an analytical balance, microcomputers, printers, a graphics plotter, solid-state modular switching circuitry, cumulative recorders, calculators, Grass physiological recorders, sound-attenuating chambers and drug-preparation facilities. Test and calibration instruments, including a dual-trace oscilloscope, digital multimeters, a capacitance meter and signal/function generator are also available for the design, maintenance and calibration of the electronic research equipment.
