Significance Director: Erwin G. Van Meir, PhDThe Laboratory of Molecular Neuro-oncology (LMN) is located in the Winship Cancer Institute. The laboratory comprises 1,500 square feet equipped with cutting edge technological instruments to perform molecular biology and cell biology studies. It is surrounded by a series of other laboratories belonging to various departments all involved in basic or translational cancer research. Shared facilities with core equipment, availability of core facilities and prestigious seminar programs make the Winship Cancer Institute one of the leading cancer research centers in the southeast region of the United States. |
